AI prompt: Instagram captions for a med spa

A copy-and-paste AI prompt that writes Instagram captions for a med spa from your real planned posts and facts, with your own disclaimer line on every caption and no results promises, medical claims, invented prices or fake offers.

Social mediaMed spas and aesthetics practicesPublished

When to use it

You run or market a med spa or aesthetics practice and need Instagram captions for posts you already have planned (your space, your providers, what a consultation is like, aftercare reminders, gift cards) without the AI promising results, making medical claims or inventing deals.

  1. Copy the prompt below.
  2. Replace every {{VARIABLE}} with your own details (see the list under the prompt).
  3. Paste it into the AI chat tool you already use.
  4. Read the result against the checklist before you use it.

The prompt

You are helping the owner of a med spa write Instagram captions. Write one caption for each post listed below.

BUSINESS
- Business name: {{BUSINESS_NAME}}
- Town or area: {{AREA}}
- Who performs treatments (roles and credentials): {{PROVIDERS}}
- Tone: {{TONE}}
- How people book: {{BOOKING}}

POSTS TO WRITE (one caption per post, in this order, each with the next step the reader should take)
{{POSTS}}

REAL FACTS YOU MAY USE
{{FACTS}}

CURRENT OFFER (write "none" if there is no offer): {{OFFER}}
Anything the captions must not mention: {{DO_NOT_MENTION}}

DISCLAIMER LINE (copy it word for word): {{DISCLAIMER}}

FORMAT
For each post, write:
Caption N: short topic name
Then the caption: two short paragraphs of two or three sentences each, 20 to 70 words in total. Open with a first line that makes a local follower stop scrolling. End the caption with one sentence that tells the reader to take the next step listed for that post.
Then, on its own line, the disclaimer line copied word for word. Every caption gets it.
Then, on its own line, 3 to 5 hashtags that only name the business, the town, the service or the topic of the post.
Put one blank line between captions.

RULES
- Use only the facts above. Do not invent prices, discounts, offers, dates, numbers, statistics, reviews, testimonials, awards or customer stories. If a caption needs a detail that is missing, write [ADD: what is missing] instead of guessing.
- Do not add details to the facts, such as how often, when, where or with whom something happens. Say only what the facts say.
- If the current offer is "none", do not mention any offer, special, deal or discount.
- No medical claims. Do not promise or describe results, and do not say a treatment is safe, painless, permanent, instant, guaranteed, clinically proven, or has no downtime.
- Do not say what a treatment, product or step does for the skin or body (for example heals, protects, soothes, repairs, tightens, smooths, glows or makes skin sensitive) or say what skin needs or what affects it, unless that is stated in the facts above. Repeat what the facts say instead.
- Do not call the business, the staff or the space safe, expert, top, leading, best or perfect, and do not use words such as erase, fix, flawless, transform, anti-aging, younger, natural, glow, recovery or confidence.
- Do not describe before and after results or ask for before and after photos.
- Do not describe how a treatment feels, how long it lasts or how long results take.
- Do not use digits anywhere except the caption numbers. No phone numbers, emails, web addresses or @ handles.
- Never use these words, in any form, in captions or hashtags: perfect, heal, healing, protect, safe, expert, best, glow, results.
- Every rule applies to the hashtags too.
- Plain words, short sentences, no more than one exclamation mark per caption, no more than two emojis per caption, no words in all capitals.

Return only the captions.

What to fill in

{{BUSINESS_NAME}}
Your med spa's name, the way clients know it.
{{AREA}}
Your town or the area you serve.
{{PROVIDERS}}

{{POSTS}}
A numbered list of the posts you have planned, one per line, each with the next step you want the reader to take. The AI writes one caption per line, in order.
{{FACTS}}
Real facts the captions may use: how consultations work, who does what, the aftercare you actually give, how gift cards work. The AI is told to use nothing else.
{{OFFER}}
Your real current offer and its terms, or "none". With "none" the AI is told not to mention any offer at all.
{{DO_NOT_MENTION}}
Anything that must stay out, e.g. prices, product or device brand names, client names or photos, dosing.
{{DISCLAIMER}}
The exact disclaimer line you want under every caption. Use wording your medical director or compliance adviser has approved.

Model: Qwen3-4B-Instruct-2507 (Q4_K_M GGUF), llama.cpp server b11853, run locally, temperature 0.4. Tested on . Edits: None. The words are exactly as the model returned them, apart from trimming spaces at the ends of lines. This was one of 2 runs out of 8 with this prompt and these inputs that passed every check: the format, the disclaimer under every caption, no banned or claim words, and no details added beyond the facts. 5 of the 8 passed the automatic checks; the other 3 of those added small details such as "every session starts with a consultation" or promised how a visit would feel. Even this run is not perfect: it put the topic, the caption sentences and the booking line on separate lines instead of writing two paragraphs, and "years of experience" is a little looser than the "several years" it was given. Small models also tend to slip in words like "perfect" or say sunscreen "protects" or "heals" skin, so read every caption before you post it. AI output varies between runs and models, so always review it before posting.

Check before you post

  • No caption promises or describes results, says a treatment is safe, painless or permanent, or says what a treatment or product does for the skin. Delete any line that does, even if it sounds harmless.
  • Every fact in each caption is true for your practice: who does what, how consultations work, what your aftercare sheet says. Cross out anything the AI added, such as how often or when something happens.
  • No prices, offers, discounts, reviews or client stories appear unless you gave them. Replace any [ADD: ...] with a real detail or drop that caption.
  • Your disclaimer line is under every caption, word for word, and it is wording your medical director or compliance adviser is happy with. This prompt is not legal or medical advice.
  • No client photos, names or before-and-after images go with these captions unless the client has given written permission and your practice's rules allow it.
  • The hashtags only name your practice, your town, the service or the topic, not a result or a health claim.
