Build first, pay only if you keep it: terms for build items

Published 23 October 2026. See the local menu

The short version

We build your site (and forms, review setup, content) first; you only pay if you keep it.

That covers websites, booking or quote forms, reviews setup and the social content pack. Google Business Profile, local SEO and citations are paid when you order, because that work happens in your own accounts. Monthly services are billed monthly.

For build items: no deposit, no card, nothing to sign. We agree the scope and price with you by email, build a private preview at preview.digidle.com, and you have 7 days to decide. Say yes and pay the Stripe Payment Link for your job to get your files and go live. Say no, or say nothing, and we take the preview down and you owe nothing.

The 8 key positions

1. What it covers

Build first covers only the build items on the Digidle Studio local menu (marked "Build first: yes"): sites, booking or quote forms, reviews setup and the content pack. Everything else is paid at order or billed monthly (see "It does not cover" below).

  • One-Page Website
  • Multi-Page Website (and extra pages ordered with it)
  • Booking or Quote Form
  • Reviews and Reputation Setup (request page, QR card and templates)
  • Social Content Pack
  • The build parts of the Get Online Starter and Local Launch bundles (website, form, review flow)

It does not cover:

  • The monthly partner plans: Concierge, Partner (5,000 USD setup fee, 6-month minimum) and Private Partner. The Funnel Build and Outbound Engine aren't covered either. Those keep their own terms.
  • Ongoing monthly services: Ads Management, Local SEO Monthly, Review Care, Care and Hosting. These are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled anytime, effective at the end of the paid month.
  • Work that only happens inside the client's own accounts and can't be previewed: Google Business Profile setup or optimisation, citations, on-page SEO on the client's existing site. These are paid when ordered, through a Stripe Payment Link sent with the written scope, and work starts once it's paid. (In a bundle, they start after the build part has been kept and paid.)

2. Deposit

None. No deposit, no card on file and no payment details are needed before or during the build.

3. What gets built first

A preview only, and it stays a preview until paid:

  • It's hosted at preview.digidle.com, on Digidle's hosting (never the client's domain). Each job gets its own path (for example preview.digidle.com/<job-id>/), shared only with that client.
  • Every preview path is noindex (robots meta tag and an X-Robots-Tag header), and preview.digidle.com isn't linked from digidle.com or listed in any sitemap.
  • It's marked "Preview by Digidle Studio" (a banner on web pages, a watermark on images and video) and set to noindex (see above), so search engines don't list it.
  • Graphics and video are shown at preview resolution.
  • Until payment we don't hand over source code, design files, full-resolution exports or downloads, we don't connect a domain, and we don't install anything in, or transfer anything to, the client's accounts (website, Google, booking tool, social accounts).
  • Forms on a preview may be shown working with test data only.

4. Decision window

  • 7 calendar days from the day we send the preview link.
  • Silence means no. If we haven't had a "keep" and a payment by the end of day 7, the preview comes down. We send one reminder on about day 5.
  • If a revision is delivered on day 6 or 7, the window runs until 48 hours after that revision is delivered.
  • The client can say no at any time; the preview comes down within 1 business day.

5. What counts as keeping it, and revisions

  • Each job gets its own Stripe Payment Link for the agreed price, sent with the preview link. The client keeps the work by paying that link, or by using or publishing any of the work in any way. That includes copying its text, images, design, layout or code; screenshotting it for use; pointing a domain at it; or rebuilding it elsewhere. Using or publishing the work counts as keeping it, and the agreed price is then due.
  • Before deciding, the client gets 2 revision rounds within the decision window. One round = one consolidated list of changes within the agreed scope. We deliver each round within 2 business days.
  • Asking for revisions doesn't count as keeping it.

6. Ownership if unpaid

  • Until it's paid, Digidle keeps all work and all rights in it. The business gets no licence to use any of it: code, designs, copy, images, video or layouts.
  • If the client declines, or the window ends, we take the preview down and the client receives no files.
  • Anything the client gave us (logo, photos, text) stays theirs. We delete it within 30 days of a decline and never reuse it.
  • Digidle may reuse its own non-client-specific parts (layout patterns, code components, generic graphics) in other work, never the client's name, logo, photos or business details.

7. Price agreed in writing before the build starts

  • Before we start, we email the scope (which menu item, what's included, page count, what the client supplies) and the price, which is the published menu price. The build starts when the client replies "yes" by email. Email is enough; there's nothing to sign.
  • The price can't change after the build starts. Anything new the client asks for beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately, and only goes ahead if they agree in writing.

8. Limits

  • One build-first job per business: one free build per business (one legal entity or one trading name at one location, whichever is narrower). A bundle counts as one job. After that, builds are paid when ordered.
  • Scope is fixed in writing before we start (point 7).
  • Third-party costs are always excluded and paid by the client directly, kept or not: domain names, ad spend, paid plugins or apps, booking or CRM subscriptions, SMS fees, stock photos and other licensed assets, paid fonts.
  • Also excluded: copywriting beyond the agreed brief, and anything that needs the client's access (see point 1).
  • We can decline a build-first request, for example if we can't confirm it's a real operating business, the work is outside the menu, or it's in a regulated area where claims need the client's expert review first.

The full fine print (plain English)

Nothing locked in. No contract, no deposit, no card. Agreeing to a build-first job only means you agree to the scope and price by email.

What it covers. We build your site (and forms, review setup, content) first; you only pay if you keep it. Google Business Profile, local SEO and citations are paid when you order. Monthly services are billed monthly.

What you get before paying. A private preview link at preview.digidle.com, on its own path for your job, watermarked and noindexed. No source files, exports, domain connection or account transfers until it's paid.

Your 7 days. You have 7 days from the day we send the preview, with up to 2 revision rounds in that time. If you don't tell us you're keeping it and pay within that window, the answer is no.

If you say no. We take the preview down. You don't receive any files and you owe nothing. You can't use any part of the preview, and the work and its rights stay with Digidle. We delete the materials you sent us within 30 days.

If you keep it. Pay the Stripe Payment Link for your job, at the published price agreed by email. Within 2 business days of payment we:

  • Transfer ownership of the delivered work to you (we keep the right to show it as a sample, and you can opt out by email). We'll also keep reusing our own generic components.
  • Hand over the files: site source code, full-resolution images and video, editable files where the service includes them.
  • Connect your domain (you add our DNS records, or invite us to your DNS), or move the site to your own hosting account, or put it on our Care and Hosting plan if you choose that.
  • Install the forms, booking tools or review pages in your accounts once you give us access. We never ask for passwords.

No using the preview until it's paid. Preview content (text, images, design, code) can't be copied, published, screenshotted for use or rebuilt elsewhere until it's paid. If it is, that counts as keeping it and the agreed price is due.

Monthly services. Ads management, monthly SEO, review care and care and hosting aren't build-first. They're billed monthly in advance through Stripe and can be cancelled anytime; cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid month. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google or Meta.

Things only you can do. Google Business Profile verification, ad account billing, Local Services Ads screening, directory verification calls or postcards and DNS changes need you or your accounts. We guide you through each step.

One per business. Build first is available once per business, for one menu item or one bundle.
