Kiri
Docker Desktop alternative built from scratch in Rust, free and in beta on Mac, Windows and Linux: runs Docker containers with one daemon while the docker CLI, Compose, buildx and the Docker Engine API work as before. Adds BuildKit builds with an image vulnerability scan, a k3s Kubernetes cluster via kiri k8s start, Linux machines, local names with HTTPS, and a one-click public link for any container on runkiri.cloud. Its makers report docker run at 22 ms versus 178 ms on Docker Desktop.
