# slotwatch

> Open-source (MIT) terminal UI that watches PostgreSQL replication slots: how much WAL each slot holds, how fast that grows, who reads it and how long it has sat idle, worst first, with a note on why a slot was flagged. Read-only, so it never drops or changes anything. slotwatch --check gives an exit code (and optional JSON) for cron, CI or Kubernetes. Tested on Postgres 14 to 18; Homebrew, go install, Docker or release binaries.
